The mission of 4 the Healing in You, Inc. is to serve as agents of change, working to empower youth, families, and communities affected by trauma and or crisis through providing mentorship, community outreach, and other support services. We are committed to facilitating the healing process so that all with whom we interact are empowered to Take F.L.I.G.H.T. physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally

We endeavor to foster youth resilience working to build their capacity to succeed despite their challenges. We will provide exceptional support services, impactful mentorship, and outstanding educational opportunities to youth whereby creating a safe space for growth and change.

Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
