God’s Gift, Inc., is a South Florida based Non-Profit Organization, founded in 2009 by Ciara L. Bostick, whose mission is providing a healthy environment for women and girls ages 7-27, promoting a healthy lifestyle by providing mentoring programs, weekend retreats, government assistance, housing assistance, career development and training, college preparation, and most importantly helping women and girls to recognize their self worth. God’s Gift, Inc. caters to low income and inner city women and girls in low poverty areas throughout Broward County, Florida.

Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
