To encourage, inspire and empower girls ages 10-18,  as well as create a sisterhood for young ladies to become confident leaders in their communities and schools.

To promote self-esteem, self-awareness, self- worth and respect within the lives of teenage girls. Through character development, entrepreneurial development, community service projects, leadership programs and social activities, girls will discover who they are to become leaders in every area of their lives.

Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.

Hello my name is Jason Woodfork and I am very interested in enrolling my 12 year old daughter in an etiquette type of class over the summer. It can be either here in Atlanta or in the Dayton, Ohio area as she will be in both places this summer. Would you have any info on this or any programs similar? Thank you!
