Project Girl Mentoring Program is located in Downtown Everett Washington at 1901 Wetmore Ave.  We offer programs at community centers, apartment communities, and afterschool programs. Project Girl offers life skills & creative arts workshops. Project Girl believes every young woman is a work in progress who is capable of becoming a powerful woman of influence.


The mission of the Project Girl Mentoring Program is to foster the advancement of young women to make positive life choices and to maximize their natural potential.


Project Girl Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every young woman is empower to make confident decision, be self-sufficient and experiences nurturing relationships with allies and community supporter, which in turn allows each young woman to develop into her full potential, capable of making informed choices, as a resilient, self-confident, competence young woman.


Afro Puffs and Ponytails is constantly searching for information about camps, clubs and organizations, and mentoring programs to provide as resources for parents and community organizers. It is our hopes that each resource provided will serve to build confidence, enhance self esteem, develop leadership skills, empower, uplift and educate our African American girls. We are not recommending these programs, but offering a starting point for you to conduct your own evaluation and research about whether a program is right for your child.
